- Since 1999: long-term project financing by the Federal Foreign Office and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in the framework of The Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe
Completed projects
- 20.6.2000-31.12.2000: Participation as consultant of the Council of Europe for the sub projects "Management systems" and "Medical qualifications" of the World Bank financed project: "Technical Assistance for the Development of the University of Prishtina/Kosovo" (supported by experts from the universities of Hamburg and Siegen).
- 1999-2001: Participation in the EU-TEMPUS project: "Improving the Legislative Framework and the Structure of Bulgarian Higher Education" (in cooperation with the Bulgarian Ministry of Education, the Bulgarian Rectors' Conference and other international partners)
- 15.12.1998-14.03.2001: Participation in the EU-TEMPUS-project "SRC - Development of the Higher Education in the Slovak Republic" (in cooperation with the Slovak Rectors' Conference and other partners)
- 01.04.1992-31.12.1998: "HRK-Coordination and Consulting Office" for cooperation with universities and other science institutions in Central and Eastern Europe. The goal: support of the rectors' conferences, ministries and scientific institutions in countries of CEEC and CIS towards a modernization of their higher education systems. State financed by the German Ministry of Education and Research.
