Consortium for Higher Education Marketing
GATE-Germany is a consortium of German Higher Education Institutions, founded as a joint initiative by the German Rectors' Conference (HRK) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The consortium´s objective is to position German Higher Education Institutions as an attractive international destination for study and research. It provides information worldwide on study and research opportunities in Germany. GATE-Germany offers services for its member institutions (115 HEI) in the area of international education fairs, seminars and media support. The consortium is funded by the German Ministry of Education and Research as part of an overall marketing strategy.
