An International DIES Expert Workshop on Experiences in Europe, Southeast Asia, South America, East Africa and the Arab Region

Die Intensivierung der länderübergreifenden, regionalen Zusammenarbeit bei der Qualitätssicherung von Studienprogrammen gewinnt stetig an Bedeutung. Vor dem Hintergrund der Internationalisierung im Hochschulbereich und der Globalisierung von Arbeitsmärkten ist dies nicht nur in Europa, sondern auch in Schwellen- und Entwicklungsländern festzustellen. Eine von Hochschulrektorenkonferenz und Deutschem Akademischen Austauschdienst veranstaltete internationale Konferenz in Bonn (18.-20.6.2007) ging auf die Rahmenbedingungen und die praktische Umsetzung regionaler Qualitätssicherungsnetzwerke im Hochschulbereich ein. Neben Experten von Hochschulen und internationalen Hochschulorganisationen diskutierten auch Vertreter der Weltbank, des finanzierenden Bundesministeriums für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) sowie Studierende, Unternehmen und Gewerkschaften miteinander. Zum Abschluss der Tagung wurde eine gemeinsame Erklärung der Teilnehmer verabschiedet, die sich an die Akteure der Qualitätssicherung im Hochschulbereich, an die Hochschulen selbst und an die Ministerien und regionalen Koordinierungsgremien sowie auch an internationale Geldgeber richtet.
